IHBC is excited to introduce our new Women’s Ministry! Beginning on September 6, the Ladies of IHBC will meet Thursdays to study the Titus 2 Model for Biblical Womanhood. Two times will be offered so you can pick one that fits your schedule – a morning session from 9:30-11:00 (childcare provided) and an evening session from 6:30-8:00.
We’ll be reading the book Spiritual Mothering – a guide to becoming women discipling and caring for women. Through this study, we’ll build strong relationships with one another as we take a deeper look at what women discipling women looks like in our modern day-to-day lives.
We welcome and encourage women of all ages and backgrounds to gather with us. The spiritual and relational well-being of all women in Grant County is important to us, and we aspire to be the sweet picture of unity in diversity that God intends in His perfect design!
Movie ended…Playground went up! At IHBC we have a commitment to serving young families through improved children’s ministries, events, and facilities. It was a great effort by the church to transform this gravel patch into an awesome new children’s play area! At IHBC we love kids!!
We’re in the process of installing a courtyard lawn complete with new children’s playground equipment. The courtyard will host an Outdoor Movie Night on July 20, when we’ll watch The Greatest Showman. You’re invited to join us for a movie and free popcorn. Other food and concessions will be available for purchase. In the future, this courtyard will host children’s play, sports, lawn parties and other exciting events!
In a special outdoor worship service at Little Walnut Campground, Pastor Chad Hussey preached from Ephesians 1:7-10, exhorting Indian Hills Baptist Church to never take for granted God’s lavish grace in making known to us the long-awaited revelation of “The Mystery of God’s Will” In Jesus Christ!
On June 10, 2018, our new pastor, Chad Hussey, joined IHBC and we’re excited for the many things the Lord is doing in and around our church!
For the past seven months, Chad was serving as an interim preaching pastor for Church on the Rock Katy’s English language ministry in Houston, TX. Chad graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY with a Master of Divinity specializing in Theology. Chad and his wife, Dandi, have three children, Sky (8), Dylan (7), and Seven (2). Chad comes from a long line of Baptist pastors, with one in every generation for the past 325 years. Dandi earned an Advanced Certificate of Ministry Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary Wives Institute.
